How we handle your information

Liberty Business Collaborative · Liberty Lake, Washington

What we collect

  • Details you give us when you join, RSVP or check in: your name, email, and optionally your business, role, industry, phone number and who invited you.
  • Event activity: which gatherings you RSVP to and attend.
  • Website activity: pages you visit on this site, how you arrived (for example a QR code, a link in one of our emails, or another website), your device and browser type, and roughly how long you spent on each page. We use our own first-party cookies for this, not advertising trackers. We store a one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself.
  • Email activity: whether our emails were delivered, opened and which links were clicked, measured with a small image and tracked links in each email, plus bounce and spam-complaint notices from our email provider.

Why

To invite you to gatherings, welcome you at the door, make useful introductions, and send emails people actually want, to the right people and at a sensible frequency.

Who sees it

Only LBC organizers. We never sell or rent your information. We use a few service providers to run the site: our hosting and database provider, Resend to deliver email, and Anthropic's Claude AI to help organizers draft emails and summarize engagement. These providers process data on our behalf.

Your choices

  • Every email has an unsubscribe link that works with one click.
  • Want your information corrected or deleted? Email chris@wannaware.com and we'll take care of it.
  • You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time; the site still works.
